Wheelchairs for kids, sausage sizzle, wood raffle and Prom Produce and Craft Market

A busy long weekend for the Rotary Club of Foster. The club was delighted to be able to support the Wheelchairs For Kids fundraising wheelathon at the Foster Primary School on Friday 10th March. The activity was the first international service project for the newly formed Early Act Club of the Foster Primary School also proudly supported by Foster Rotary with a sausage sizzle and the much needed funds will be used to purchase and export wheelchairs for needy children in the developing world. Just a point of interest. Since this program was started some 52,000 wheelchairs have been sent overseas.

The wood raffle was held on Wednesday through to Sunday with the winner a resident of Foster. Proceeds from the raffle were used to purchase a defibrillator for residents of Linton Court. Again the Prom Produce and Craft Market proved popular both to locals and visitors to the area.

Thanks to everyone involved over the weekend. Very much appreciated by the Rotary Club of Foster.
