The wood raffles are held five times a year to raise money for a local organisation. Raffle tickets are sold in the Foster township during the two weeks preceding each Promontory Produce and Craft Market. Prizes are drawn at each market. Over the years many local organisations have been beneficiaries of funds raised. Wood raffles will be resumed when markets re-commence after Covid-19.
