Fosters 150th Anniversary Time Capsule interred

The capsule has been laid to rest for another 50 years in the grounds of the Foster Museum, to be raised in 50 years time at Foster’s 200th anniversary. The capsule was interred on April 21st 2012 by Rotary Club of Fosters president Rod Lomax and members and guests. This occasion also marked Rotary Australia and Oceanas 100 year anniversary.

Many thanks to the community for their assistance including Phil, Annette, Brandi and staff at the Foster Post Office for selling and collecting the envelopes, Luke Manders Plumbing for digging the hole, Bill Peterson from Ag Trans for restoring the capsule and all who purchased envelopes.
